Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Engineer - Solar Project to manage and oversee the execution of solar projects at our site in Tosham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the solar project site, ensuring compliance with project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly, providing technical guidance as needed.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and safety records.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met within the specified budget and timeline.
- Monitor and ensure the proper installation and commissioning of solar panels and associated systems.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in solar technology to ensure the project's success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in managing solar energy projects or similar infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of solar project execution, including installation processes, commissioning, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
